Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 276, reports as
follows :
Bill 276 proposes to amend Ordinance 86-63, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1986-87 , by increasing the General Fund Fund Balance from
Previous Year by $94, 500 and appropriating same to the Solid Waste -
Kailua Abatement Plan.
The purpose of Bill 276 is to provide various improvements to
mitigate violations cited by DOH Notice and Finding of Violation,
Docket No. 86-PIE-EOSW-7. Failure to comply may result in a
$10,000/day fine against the County.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose of
Bill 276 and recommends that it pass first reading.
