Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred `Communication 808 ,
reports as follows:
Communication 808 is a request from the Corporation Counsel for an
executive session to discuss the settlement of Civil Case No . 9044
(Third Circuit Court ) , and Civil No . 83-0794 (U. S. District Court ) ,
Barbara Atwell , et al vs . County of Hawaii .
After thorough discussion with the Corporation Counsel , your
Committee on Finance recommends acceptance of the Corporation
Counsel 's recommendation for settlement of the case, pending further
information from the Corporation Counsel .
