Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 265, reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 265 is to approve the termination of Improvement
District No. 4. The bill will facilitate the termination by the
Department of Finance as follows:
1 ) Cancellation of payment of Installment 20 .
2 ) Payment refund of Installment 20 to all existing title
holders of lots who have prepaid said payment .
3 ) Distribution of pro rata amounts to all title holders at the
termination date.. The Finance Director shall retain the
right to reserve amounts necessary to cover anticipated
debts or obligations .
4 ) Termination of improvement district at such time that all
outstanding or anticipated debts or obligations have been
paid or can be satisfied.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 265 and
recommends that it pass first reading.
