Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication 755 ,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Communication 755 to reappoint the following members
to the Transportation Commission:
Ms . Frances M. Hasegawa, a democrat from Kohala;
Ms . Helen R. McCall , an independent from Hilo (at-large ) ;
Mr . Peter G. Schneider , an independent from Kona (at-large ) .
The reappointments are for full terms which will commence on
January 1, 1987 and expire December 31 , 1988 .
Pursuant to Section 18-3, Hawaii County Code , the County
Transportation Commission shall be comprised of nine members, six
from individual districts and three at-large , with alternating
two-year terms . Council approval is required.
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the reappointment of
the above listed individuals to the Transportation Commission.
