Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 259 , reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 259 is to amend Ordinance 86-63 , the Operating
Budget , by increasing revenues in the General Fund by $20 ,000 in
Account #3301 .95 , Marijuana Eradication, and appropriate same to
Account #010-201-5218 .51-115 , Marijuana Eradication .
Pursuant to Section 10-8 , Hawaii County Charter , the Council may
amend or make supplemental appropriations for the year up to the
amount of available revenues , by ordinance .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 259 and
recommends that it pass first reading.
