Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication 767 ,
reports as follows :
The purpose of Communication 767 from Parks & Recreation Director
Patricia Engelhard is to recommend acceptance of a donation of $71 .46
from the Christ Lutheran Church' s Vacation Bible Class for the
Panaewa Zoo .
The Zoo Manager has suggested that the contribution be used to
support either the squirrel monkey or tortoise exhibit .
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter , the Council , on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation .
Your Committee on Finance recommends acceptance of the donation and
that a letter of appreciation be forwarded to the Vacation Bible
Class of the Christ Lutheran Church.
