Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication 766,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Communication 766 from Parks & Recreation Director
Patricia Engelhard is to recommend acceptance of the donation of an
electric blower/vacuum from The Friends of the Panaewa Zoo.
The blower , valued at $100 , will be used to maintain the zoo premises .
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter , the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation .
Your Committee on Finance recommends acceptance of the equipment and
that a letter of appreciation be forwarded to The Friends of the
Panaewa Zoo.
