Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 209-86,
reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution 209-86 is to transfer p5,700 from the
Legislative Auditor S&W Account #010-101-5101 .40-011 and appropriate
same to the following account:
010-101-5101.01-021 Clerk-Council Svc. Overtime S&W $5,500
010-101-5101 .06-450 Office Equipment 200
The transfer to the overtime account is to handle anticipated
shortages which have been created by increased workloads and
demanding meeting schedules . The 1200 equipment transfer will
provide the supplement needed to purchase a word processing
terminal. The shortfall occurred due to a price increase since the
preparation of the budget .
Pursuant to Section 10-9, Hawaii County Charter , the Council, by
resolution, may transfer part or all of any unencumbered
appropriation balance from one agency to another .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of
Resolution 209-86 and recommends itoption.
