Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 236, reports as
follows :
The purpose of Bill 236 is to amend Ordinance 86-64, the Capital
Budget, by adding to the list of qualified projects , the Kuakini
Interceptor "B" - Federal (110-699-5696.91-115 ) project. The
Department of Public Works project will be funded from Federal Grants
Receivable in the amount of 11,505,498.
Pursuant to Section 10-6, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, by
ordinance and the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the entire
membership, may amend the capital budget for that year .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 236 and
recommends that it pass first reading.
