Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 205-86,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution 205-86 is to amend the Salary Ordinance as
follows :
CONTRACTUAL/EXEMPT POSITIONS (Page 38 )
Section 8.02 (d ) . MASS TRANSPORTATION AGENCY. OFFICE OF THE MAYOR
1. Reallocate one position of Transit Operations Manager
SR-24 to Transit Operations Administrator SR-26.
(Note: Upon approval of exclusion of position by the Hawaii
Labor Relations Board, position to be converted to
Transit Operations Administrator EM-3. )
The reallocation is being recommended, based on the scope of
responsibilities of the position. The position will assume the role
of administrator in addition to maintaining the daily operations .
The reallocation will provide the Transit Operations Manager and the
Mass Transit Assistant more time in the administrative and planning
aspect of the program.
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter, interim amendments
to the Pay Plan may be made by resolution.
Your Committee on Finance concurs.-with the intent of
Resolution 205-86 and recommend6 its adoption.
