Change District Classification from Open to Residential & Agricultural
I did not receive the notification letter on this bill until after the committee's first hearing on May 26,1999.
Since I am out of town for the summer, I will not be able to testify personally. I urge the committee to consider the
needs of all the residents of Nanawale, present and &ture. The Planning Departtnent referrs to Nanawale Estates as
"one of those subdivisions' and tells us now that the only way for us, the residents, to protect ourselves and our
bylaws from invasion from the association and the developers is to create a"Master Plan." However we are not being
allowed adequate time to prepaze such a document before being carved up by some new financial scheme of
Nanawale Corp.
We most definitely DO NOT want Agricultural in immediate proximity to residential. This is a dangerous impact on
534 lots in the ntunber of persons who had to be notified. Many of these people responded that they DID NOT want
this chage of Zoning. [250 in writing and dozens of phone calls]
I am most concerned about commercial packing at night, more trucks emering the subdivision, and the dangerous use
of commercial pesticides. Nanawale was cleazly set up to be RESIDENTIAL ONLY. The Farm lots exist tior these
emerprises.
We respectfully request the Committee on Planning to protect the Gves and the financial investment of our homes.
We ask you to honestly vote as if you yourselves were living next to this proposed change.
