RE: Legislative Priorities
Finance: 1. Retain the Transit Accomodation Tax Formula.
2. Obtain funding for the Puainako extension to
Saddle Road.
3. Obtain funding for a new football field at the Civic
Complez to preserve Hoolulu Park for baseball use
(High School, local league, Winter league).
4. Obtain funding for Keaau Bypass Road "over pass"
rather than traffic light.
5. Retain funding for Purchases of service for
r_on-profit organizations.
6. Eliminate the GET from County purchases.
Land & Water:
1. Obtain right of entry for State land across the Civic
Complez for parking. Best use of ceded lands under
DLNR. This will enable the county to maximize the
use of the Civic complex.
