Re: Operating Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance appropriating $5,000 to the P&R
Miscellaneous Contributions account. Also enclosed is a resolution
authorizing the acceptance of $1,375 from various companies to be used for
programs at the Kona Community Aquatics Center Pool.
The department would like the bill and resolution to go directly to the Council
meeting as we are nearing the end of the fiscal year.

Parks & Recreation.

To appropriate $5,000 into revenue account (3607.10) and appropriation account
(5503.73) for misc. private donations for Parks and Recreation projects.

The department would like to have funds appropriated so misc. private donations can be
expended for Parks and Recreation projects.

The six companies presented a donation of $1,375 to Mr. Norman Olesen, the Project
Manager for the Kona Community Aquatic Center. The donation will be used for
programs at the Kona Community Aquatics Center pool. Council Action is necessary
to accept the donation.
