Aloha County Council Chair and Committee members,
We strongly support resolution 246-17.
Earlier this year and after much effort we have revived the 4H shooting sports program in Hawaii county in both the air
rifle and archery disciplines. We have purchased all the necessary equipment and received tremendous support from
our community in the form of donations and volunteers. Unfortunately we were unable to secure a venue and had to
arrange this years program on private property. It would be great to have a public facility to accommodate such
programs.
Our primary goal of the 4H Shooting Sports program is to promote positive youth development.
With your help we can make this become reality.
