Subject: support for public shooting range
I wholeheartedly support the construction of a public shooting range on the Big Island.
Unless landowners or allowed by landowners of sufficient acreage, residents lack a legal means to
discharge those firearms not allowed for hunting.
Lack of a public facility means shooting sports activities are limited or non-existent. The practice of safe
handling and firearms education is curtailed. Perhaps local law enforcement could use a public facility as
well.
Please consider support for a public shooting range.
