Subject: Resolution No.246 - 17 Public Shooting Range Facility
Honorable Members of the Hawaii County Council,
To all concerned, along with many of my co-workers, relatives,and friends of the District of Hilo,we are in strong
support of Resolution No. 246-17. It has been forever that the County of Hawaii has been without any place for legal gun
owners and enthusiasts to go and legally fire, practice, compete, and just to have a fun day at a shooting facility that can
accommodate the citizens of our County.Shooting sports is definitely a growing interest and becoming proficient in
shooting only comes with practice on a regular basis. Having such a facility that is not too far away would be such a
wonderful addition to the list of activities that law abiding citizens can have as a viable sport in which to participate
regularly. Please think this over objectively and we would be honored if you all could grant this resolution a favorable
action. Please feel free to contact me anytime.Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
