Subject: Support for public shooting range
Aloha,
Because of short notice I'm not able to write a longer email of support for a public shooting range. However, I
would like to show support of this range through a quick email!
I believe that having a public shooting range would be very beneficial to our community. With the number of
guns that are registered in Hawaii, there are no places that we are able to do target practice or shooting for
recreational purposes. Even for those who have hunting licenses,there are no places that we are able to shoot
smaller caliber hand guns or areas that we are able to do target practicing if we don't want to hunt. Without
having a designated area for this,people are unable to practice shooting in a safe environment. And without
this,there is also an increased likelihood of people illegally shooting their guns thus causing more unsafe
practices.
Please allow this public shooting range to be available to our community. Thank you very much for your time
and consideration.
