Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 219,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Bill No. 219 is to amend Ordinance 86-63, the
Operating Budget, by increasing revenues in the General Fund 's
Federal Grants - Historic Preservations Account #3301.53, by 0,594
and appropriating same to the Historic Preservations Account
#010-141-5141.87-115 .
The monies will be used by the Planning Department to contract work
for obtaining a certification as required by the Federal Historic
Preservation program. The Planning Department will provide the
County 's matching share with services in-kind for the grant which
must be expended by September 30, 1986.
Pursuant to Section 10-8, Hawaii County Charter, the Council may make
supplemental appropriations by ordinance.
