Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 211,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Bill No. 211 is to amend Ordinance 86-63 by increasing'
revenues in the General Fund 's Account #3301 .52, Federal Grants -
Highway Safety, by $600 and appropriating same to the Breath Testing .
Device Account #010-201-5218.46-115 .
Ordinance 86-38 previously accepted the original grant of $6,000 for
the purchase of a breath testing device. An additional $600 is being
provided as an addendum to the original grant bringing the grant
total to $6,600.
Pursuant to Section 10-8, Hawaii County Charter , the Council may make
supplemental appropriations by ordinance.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Btll 211 and
recommends that it pass first readin .
