Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication 602,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Communication 602 is to confirm or deny the
appointment of Ms . Betty J. Fields to the Tax Board of Review. An
independent from Puna, Ms . Fields will serve through December 31,
1990 in place. of Mr . Ronald Nagata whose term has expired .
Pursuant to Section 13-4, Hawaii County Charter , board and commission
members shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council .
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Ms . Betty J. Fields to the Tax Board of Review.
