Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 196 , reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 196 is to close the Kawaihae-Puako Sewer System
Fund and transfer any unexpended proceeds to the Kona Sewerage System
project of the Public Improvement Bond Fund.
The bill will complement Bill 193 which will receive the funds
described above.
•
Pursuant to Section 10-8, Hawaii County Charter , the Council , by
ordinance , may make supplemental appropriations for the year up to
the amount of available revenues .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 196 and
recommends that it pass first reading.
