Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 173 , reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 173 is to amend Ordinance 85-52, the Operating
Budget, by increasing revenues by $70 ,000 inthe General Fund 's
Account #3609 .10 , Fund Balance from Previous Year , and appropriate
same to Account #010-121-4121 .01-115, Corporation Counsel - OCE -
Miscellaneous Contractual Service.
The monies will be used for defending the County in current pending
lawsuits .
During Committee discussion, Bill 173 was amended by deleting the
Account No. , Function and Activity, and Amount sections in Section 2
and were replaced as follows:

ordinance, may make supplemental appropriations for the year up to
the amount of available revenues.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 173 ,
Draft 2, and recommends that it ss- first reading.
