Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 172, reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 172 is to amend Ordinance 85-52, the Operating
Budget, by increasing revenues by $30 ,881 in the General Fund's
Federal Grant UMTA Sec. 18 Grant Account #3301. 43 and appropriating
same to Account #010-311-5311 .02-115 , Mass Transit - OCE,
Miscellaenous Contract Services.
The monies have been provided through the UMTA Section 18 Federal
Grant.
Pursuant to Section 10-8 , Hawaii County Charter , the Council, by
ordinance, may make supplemental appropriations for the year up to
the amount of available revenues .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 172 and
recommends that it pass first reading.
