Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 171-86 ,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution 171-86 is to transfer 2,500 from the
General Fund 's Area Project on Aging Account #010-411-5411 .10-115 and
credit same to Account #010-519-5519 .50-450 , Elderly Activities
Division - Equipment.
The transferred monies will be used to purchase 75 metal folding
chairs and 16 folding tables for use at the Keaau Community Center ,
Hilo Senior Center , and Pepeekeo Senior Center .
Pursuant to Section 10-9 , Hawaii County Charter , the Council, by
resolution, may transfer part or all of any unencumbered
appropriation balance .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of
Resolution 171-86 and recommends its adoption .
