Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 170-86 ,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution 1 0-8 is to transfer from the

General Fund 's Legislative Auditor S&W Account #010-101-5101 .40-011
and credit same to Account #010-101-5101.06-450 , Office Equipment
(Electric Paper Cutter ) .
The CountyClerk is requesting the monies to purchase a

semi-automatic paper cutting machine to replace a manually operated
cutter . The existing machine is not operating properly and does
create a potential safety hazard.
Pursuant to Section 10-9 , Hawaii County Charter , the Council , by
resolution, may transfer part or all of any unencumbered
appropriation balance .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of
Resolution 170-86 and recommends its adoption .
