Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Communication 506,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Communication 506 is to confirm or deny the
appointment of Ms. Helen V. Carlson to the Liquor Control
Adjudication Board for a term through December 31 , 1988 .
An independent from Puna , Ms. Carlson will be replacing
Mr . Osamu Tsutsui , who has resigned.
Pursuant to Section 7-3. 3 and 13-4, Hawaii County Charter , the
five-member Liquor Control Adjudication Board shall be appointed by
the Mayor and confirmed by the Council .
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Ms. Helen V. Carlson to the Liquor Control Adjudication Board .
