Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 162, reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 162 is to amend Ordinance 85-52, the Operating
Budget , by increasing revenues in the general fund as follows:

and appropriate as follows:

010-221-5227 .21-341 Western Oil and Gas Assn. Fire $1 ,500
Protection School
The monies have been provided by Chevron USA in agreement with the
county for the purpose of training at the Western Oil and
Gas Association Fire Protection School . The comprehensive two week
course focuses on controlling tank farm fires .
Pursuant to Section 10-8 Hawaii CountyCharter , the Council may
amend or make supplemental appropriations up to the amount of
available revenues by ordinance .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 162 and 1
recommends that it pass first eading .
