Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Res. No. 40-99, reports as follows:

Resolution No. 40-99, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi,
account for the
No. 144, dated February 3, 1999, authorizes the creation of a Motor V
Planning Department. Further, said resolution transfers/appropriates funds as follows:

Due to almost eight years of high use the Planning Department's 1991 Ford Aerostar vanrovides the necessary reliability and safety
consistently experiences breakdowns, and no longer
transfer would allow for the purchase of a
assurance for users of the van. The aforementioned
new mini -van to replace the van currently utilized by the department.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 40-99,
and recommends its adoption.
