Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 133, reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 133 is to amend Ordinance 85-52, the Operating
Budget , by increasing revenues in the General Fund by $77 ,069 . The
grants have been provided by State Grants - Area Project on Aging and
is listed in Account #3304.06. The bill will also appropriate the
same funds to the General Fund's Account #010-411-5411 .10-115 , Area
Project on Aging .
The funds will be used to improve programs in transportation (HCEOC) ,
personal care, Alzheimer 's support group and Hospice Services .
Pursuant to Section 10-8, Hawaii County Charter , the Council , by
ordinance , may make supplemental appropriations for the year up to
the amount of available revenues .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 133 and
recommends that it pass first reading.
