Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 131 , reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 131 is to amend Ordinance 85-52, the Operating
Budget , by increasing revenues in the General Fund as follows :

3304.18 State Grants - Puna Sugar Transition Report $ 1 ,500
3304.97 State Grants - Energy Audit 16 ,000
3607 .00 Contribution from Private Sources 1 ,500
$ 19 ,000
and appropriate same to the General Fund 's Account
#010-161-5161 .84-115 , Puna Sugar Transition Report, in the amount of
$3 ,000 , and by applying the balance of $16 ,000 to Account
#010-161-5161 .98-115 , Energy Audits .
In committee discussion, the Chairman assured the committee that they
will have an opportunity to review the Puna Sugar Transition Report
after its completion .
Pursuant to Section 10-8, Hawaii County Charter , the Council, by
ordinance , may make supplemental appropriations for the year up to
the amount of available revenues .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 131 and
recommends that it pass first reach.
