Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 128, reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 128 is to appropriate $5 ,000 from the Fund
Balance--Construction account of Improvement District No . 11 and make
payable to Alan Okamoto (120-380-5380 . 25) for legal services and
expenses incurred as special counsel .
Because the successful termination of I.D. 11 (Discovery Harbor , Kau )
is very close , the Corporation Counsel has assured that this will be
the final payment for legal services and costs incurred by special
counsel .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 128 and
recommends that it pass first reading .
