Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred
Communication 326 , reports as follows :
The purpose of Communication is
p p 326 to confirm or reject the
appointment by Mayor Dante K. Carpenter of Mr . Bill Thibadeau of Hilo
to the Police Commission, for a term to expire December 31, 1989. He
replaces Takashi Aragaki whose term has expired .
Pursuant to Section 7-2.2 and 13-4 of the Hawaii County Charter ,
members of the Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor and
confirmed by the Council .
Your Committee on Finance recommends the appointment of
Mr . Bill Thibadeau to the Police Commission .
