Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 83, reports
as follows :
The purpose of Bill No. 83 is to appropriate $30,000 from the fund
balance account of the Improvement District Revolving Fund to
Account No . 137-380-5380.91-115 , Purchase of I.D. 11 Lots .
The money will be used to bid the upset price of the delinquent lots
at the next foreclosure sale, if no other bids are received.
Pursuant to Section 12-40, Hawaii County Code , in cases of default ,
the Director of Finance shall commence to sell the subject property
for the unpaid assessment , interest and penalties due within 120 days .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 83 and
recommends . that it pass first reading.
