Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 88-85,
reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution 88-85 is to approve a three-year lease for
two additional teletype terminals at a cost of $.287 .73 per month,
with a $1 .00 purchase option in the final month .
These terminals, for the driver licensing section in Hilo, will be
compatible with data transmission equipment used at the City and
County of Honolulu .
Pursuant to Section 10-11, Hawaii County Charter , any contract, lease
or obligation requiring payment of funds of later fiscal years may be
approved by the Council, through resolution.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution 88-85
and recommends its adoption.
