Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Resolution 79-85 ,
reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution 79-85 is to approve a telephone lease which
will require payment from appropriations in future fiscal years .
The West Hawaii Service Center has been relocated to 75-5737 Kuakini
Highway in Kona . Hawaiian Communications Corporation has proposed a
lease of $261 per month for five years .
Pursuant to Section 10-11, Hawaii County Charter , leases requiring
payment of funds for more than one fiscal year shall be approved by
the Council , through resolution.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution 79-85
and recommends its adoption .
