Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No . 73 , reports
as follows:
The purpose of Bill No . 73 is to increase revenues in the General
Fund Account #3304. 12 by $10 ,000 and appropriate same to the General
Fund Account #010-111-5111 .41-115 .
The $10 ,000 has been contributed by the Governor 's Japanese
Centennial Coordinating Committee for use in the upcoming County
centennial celebration .
Pursuant to Section 10-8 of the Hawaii County Charter , relating to
Supplementary Appropriations , after the Mayor 's certification of
available funds , the Council , by ordinance , effective immediately,
may make •supplemental appropriations up to the amount of available
revenues .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 73 and
recommends that it pass first reading .
