Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication 251,
reports as follows :
Communication 251, as submitted by Mayor Dante K. Carpenter in the
form of Executive Order 112, grants compensation adjustments for
excluded managerial employees in Units 31, 35 and 36 , and all other`
excluded non-managerial employees . Also included for Council's
approval are cost items as granted. by Executive Order 112 for
excluded managerial employees .
The totals for these cost items will amount to $93,267 for FY 85-86
and $190 ,997 for FY 86-87 . The report does not contain cost items
for excluded managerial employees of Unit 34 as these cost items were
submitted and previously approved with the Firefighters ' (Unit 11 )
package. .
Pursuant to Section 89C-5 , Hawaii Revised Statutes, the Council may
approve or reject the cost items submitted to them as a whole.
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the cost items as
contained in Communication 251 .
