Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 61-85,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution 61-85 is to amend the Salary Ordinance for
F.Y. 85-86 by adjusting the pay grade of three deputy prosecuting `
attorneys from LG-1 to LG-2.
The amendment is a result of Deputy Prosecutors being assigned to
various districts . This reorganization within the Prosecutor 's
Office calls for team readers to manage these deputies within their
respective district. For effective management, a supervisor should
only manage up to a maximum of six people.
Pursuant to Section 3-14 of the Hawaii County Charter , relating to
the adoption of the payplan, interim amendments to the Salary
Ordinance may be made by Resolution.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution 61-85
and recommends Council approval .
