Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 56, reports
as follows :
The purpose of Bill No. 56 is to amend Chapter 24, Article 4,
Section 24-19, Hawaii County Code, by including the following fee `
structure for trailers:
1 ) $2.00 transfer fee for issuance of a new registration
certificate
2) $2.00 for correction of registration (per instance)
3) $2.00 per duplicate registration or ownership certificate
4) $ .50 per registration shall be assessed and collected
annually, proceeds shall ' be used for highway beautification
• and disposal of abandoned vehicles .
In accordance with Act 27 signed by Governor George R. Ariyoshi on
April 18, 1985 , the fees described 'above shall be established by the
County 's legislative body.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the fees as set forth in
Bill No. 56 and recommends that it pass first reading.
