Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 42-85 ,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution 42-85 is to amend the Salary Ordinance of
the Recreation Division of the Department of Parks and Recreation as
follows:
1. Delete one position of Complex Maintenance Supervisor FII-4.
2. Reallocate one position of Facilities Maintenance and Service
Worker I WB-3 to Facilities Maintenance and Service Worker II
WF-3.
3. Transfer from page 28, Section 8 .09(b) , Recreation Division
(Regular County Positions - Part-time ) , 3 positions of Facilities
Maintenance and Service Worker I WB-3 (1/2 time) and change the
time element to permanent full-time.

1 . Delete one position of Facilities Maintenance and Service Worker I
WB-3 (2/5 time) .
2. Change the time element of one position of Facilities Maintenance
and Service Worker I WB-3 (9/20 time ) to Facilities Maintenance
and ServiceWorker I WB-3 (1/2 time) .
3. Change the time element of 2 positions of Facilities Maintenance
and Service Worker I WB-3 ( 2/5 time) to Facilities Maintenance
and Service Worker I WB-3 (1/2 time) .

In Committee discussion, Councilman Domingo commended the Parks and
Recreation Department for its creativity in tremendously increasing
services at such little expense to the County.
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter , interim amendments
to the Salary Ordinance may be made by resolution.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution 42-85
and recommends its approval.
