Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 45-85,
reports as follows :
The purpose of Resolution 45-85 is to appropriate $100 ,000 from the
following accounts:
Special Counsel - Hoke V. Paul $ 45,000
Collective Bargaining Cost Items 55 ,000
100,000
These monies will be appropriated to the Hoke V. Paul account for the
purpose of an out-of-court settlement .
Pursuant to Section 10-9 of the Hawaii County Charter ,
Appropriations: Reduction and Transfer, the Council, by resolution,
may transfer part or all of any unencumbered appropriation balance.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Resolution 45-85
and recommends its approval .
