Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 30-85 ,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution 30-85 is to contract for an annual
independent audit for a period of three fiscal years and assure that
sufficient funds are budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the
obligation of the three-year contract . The three-year contract will
bring more consistent results at a lesser cost . .
Pursuant to Section 10-11 of the Hawaii County Charter , any contract ,
lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from
appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year
be approved by resolution .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with Resolution 30-85 and
recommends its adoption .
