Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Resolution 27-85 ,
reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution 27-85 is to authorize the disposal , through
auction , of three buildings at Hakalau Elementary and Intermediate
Schools .
The three buildings are surplus and may be removed due to closing and
consolidation of the schools .
Councilwoman Lai was assured that the buildings to be disposed will
not affect the senior citizens program at Hakalau .
Pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 19 , Section 2-112 of the Hawaii County
Code , Disposition by Auction , the Director of Finance shall
coordinate and execute all duties relating to the auction .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with Resolution 27-85 and
recommends its adoption . `
