Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 21, reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 21 is to appropriate $39 ,000 received through
Federal grants to relocate and renovate a teacher ®s cottage for use
as a multi-purpose center in the County-sponsored Papaaloa Elderly
Housing project .
The following figures reflect the estimated cost breakdown to
complete the conversion: ,
Moving Cost $17 ,000
Appliances 3 ,500
,Rehabilitation 7 ,000
Cesspool 1 ,000
Site Preparation 8 ,500
Contingency 2,000
Total Cost $39 ,000
Pursuant to Section 10-8 of the Hawaii County Charter , relating to
Appropriations: Supplemental and Emergency, Bill 21 amends
Ordinance 84-31 , the Operating Budget for FY 1984-85 , by increasing
revenues in Federal grants in the amount of $39 ,000 and appropriating
same to the Papaaloa Elderly Housing Multipurpose Center .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 21 and
