Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred 'ill 14 , reports as
follows:
The purpose of Bill 14 is to amend Chapter 2, Article 17 ,
Section 2-104 (j ) & (k ) , Hawaii County Code 1983 , relating to fees for
copies of the Hawaii County Code and other publications .
Bill 14 will update the fee schedule to include fees for copies of
the annual supplements of the Hawaii County Code, Zoning Annexes , and
Traffic Schedules . It will also delete the charges listed for the
Hawaii County Code and the Hawaii County Charter , which are now found
in subsection (j ) . The reason for these deletions are that these
charges already appear in subsections (k ) & (1 ) respectively. Other
than the above changes , the bill will correct the number of volumes
of the Hawaii County Code found under subsection (k ) from 4 to 3 .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 14 and
recommends that it pass first reading.
