Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 13 , reports as
follows :
The purpose of Bill 13 is to amend Ordinance 84-32 , the Capital
Budget for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30 , 1985 , by appropriating
$65 ,000 for the Pahoa-Kapoho Road Improvements .
The requested $65 ,000 is the balance needed to complete this second
and final phase of the project which stretches approximately 1 .13
miles between Pahoa School and the Nanawale Estates Subdivision. The
project is being funded through the Federal Highway Administration
and the County of Hawaii on an approximately 75%-25% ratio
respectively.
Your Committee on Finance concurs with the intent of Bill 13 and
recommends that it pass first reading .
