RE: Beach Road at Punalu'u. Ka'u. Ha~~aii.
I understand that there may be a plan to pa~•e the beach road at Punaht'u
Beach Park in Ka'u. This is just a note to register m~ objection to such an
action. This area needs protection from traftic, not increased traftic. There is
sensiti~ e biological habitat in this area that needs protection.
Mr. Yagong please do ~~ilate~•er ~~ou can to pre~•ent an~~ additional impact in
this area. There is a pa~•ed road that goes to the same destination onh a fe~~
hundred Teet a~` a~ and e should do e~•er~rthing e can to see that all traftic
uses this alternate route rather than the beach area.
