Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 684, reports
as follows:
Bill 684 proposes to amend Ordinance 88-83 , the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1988-89 , by increasing revenues in Federal Grant UMTA
Section 18 Grant , Account No . 3301 . 43, by $25 ,366, and appropriating
same to the following General Fund account:

Communication 1854 explains that the County has received an
authorization of $67,366 under the UMTA, Section 18, Capital and
Operating Assistance Grant, which is incorporated in the Mass
Transit Agency budget . Of this amount, $42,000 has been
appropriated, leaving an unappropriated amount of $25,366 .
Resolution 497-88 redirects $15 ,600 in salary and wages to various
other accounts .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 684 and recommends that 2ass first reading.
