Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 677, reports
as follows :
Bill 677 proposes to amend Ordinance 88-81 , the Capital Improvement
Budget for Fiscal Year 1988-89, by adding the following project:
Pahoa Town Road Resurfacing & Pedestrian Walkway $60,000
(110-399-5390 .51-115 )
Funds for this project shall be provided from the Highway Fund.
This project will widen, resurface and provide for a pedestrian
walkway along Pahoa Road from Kahakai Boulevard to Pahoa School .
This appropriation will supplement a previous allotment which was
insufficient to cover the bid for the total project .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 677 and recommends that it pass first reading.
