Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 668, reports
as follows:
Bill 668 proposes to amend Ordinance 88-81, the Capital Improvement
Budget for Fiscal Year 1988-89, by adding the following project:
110-499-5496 .10-115 Ihilani Place Subdivision $58,000
Water Installation
This appropriation is in addition to the previous appropriation of
$252,000 and is necessary to proceed with this project . The lot
owners have agreed to repay the total amount of funds advanced by
the County, plus interest .
Funds for this increase will be provided from the General Fund fund
balance .
Your Committee on Finance is aware that the lot owners of the 29-lot
subdivision situated at Keauhou 1st, North Kona, have waited for
this water installation and have agreed to fully reimburse the
County with interest .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 668 and recommends that its first reading.
